By providing an entrepreneurial and talent-driven community, Holland in the Valley makes US-Netherlands ties accessible and future-proof. Our three pillars - content, programs, and events - guarantee that there’s something for everyone: entrepreneurs, talent, and locals.
Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs who get involved gain access to Holland in the Valley’s exclusive resources, networks, and events.
We offer multiple unique programs that support Dutch entrepreneurs by meeting them where they are--whether they need a soft landing, an accelerator, or that extra push to become the next unicorn.
Collectively, we’re better situated to add value to the Dutch economy and make an impact in the innovation capital of the world.
We teach promising startup teams to study the latest in technology and innovation within their specific area of focus, along with strategies for doing business in the Valley and across America’s tech hubs.
In collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, Holland in the Valley has developed the Founders Program.
Locals
Within our ecosystem there are insiders--locals, investors, and serial entrepreneurs-- who look for opportunities to give back. Holland in the Valley celebrates these experts in the field, inviting them to connect with their “orange heart”.
Thanks to a variety of events, roundtables, and topical sessions, Holland in the Valley is able to create possibilities for networking between Dutch citizens and local tech veterans.
Talent
Before we got started here, there wasn’t one central place for high-potential individuals from the Netherlands to jumpstart their careers within the Silicon Valley community and job market.
Our tailored program, Internships in the Valley, allows the brightest Dutch students to introduce themselves to a wide range of Bay Area companies, from startups and scaleups to big corporations.
The Internships in the Valley program forms an integral part of our community and aims to secure a healthy future talent pipeline.
We’re committed to allocating twenty percent of our annual donations to Internships in the Valley.
This program executes under the umbrella of the Association of Universities in the Netherlands, and is coordinated by the VU (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
