This Event is an initiative from the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York (Silicon Alley) and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in San Francisco (Holland in the Valley). Supported by SoftBank Investment Advisers.
Meet nine very promising Female Founders from the Netherlands at our virtual event on May 6, 2021. The Coast to Coast Event will bring Dutch female-led companies to the forefront of the world's leading tech ecosystems; New York and Silicon Valley ánd one of its most important VCs: SoftBank.
ONLINE PLATFORM
April 2021
The selected Dutch Female Founders get access to the online platform Holland in the Valley. On this platform, powered by Mentorjam, they can easily get in touch with the mentoring community from the Dutch Ecosystem in the Valley and all other tech hubs in the US.
The entrepreneurs will be onboarded to the Founders Program, so they will continue to benefit from the Academy, events, and community after the Event.
PITCH TRAINING
April , 2021
The startups will complete a US pitch training from professional coach David Beckett, who will help them perfect their pitch to US-based audiences.
This consists of an online module that needs to be completed before their tailored individual 1-on-1 training in the week before the event.
COAST TO COAST EVENT
May 6, 2021
There will be three rounds of pitching (3 minutes per founder) and feedback and Q&A (5 minutes per founder) from four industry experts who will serve as judges. A wider group of seasoned ecosystem experts will also be able to engage and mentor in the Q&A.
