The Netherlands Life Science Sector “Health Holland” and the Netherlands Global Scale-up Program (University of Maastricht) are organizing a digital Life Sciences and Health trade mission with 12 scale-up Dutch companies to (virtually) meet with relevant counterparts in the Cities of Los Angeles, Irvine and Phoenix. Participating companies are active in the MedTech, Biotech, Pharma and Digital Health space.
The Global Scale-up Program (GSP) is a mentoring program that helps Dutch and European life science companies each year to scale their business to the US market.
Prof. Marianne Van Der Steen, Ph.D., is the driving force and organizer behind this trade mission. She is Professor of Entrepreneurship in Healthcare at the Regenerative Medicine Institute of the University of Maastricht, a strategic partner of the University of California Irvine. She is also a member of the Dutch Life Sciences & Health Advisory Board to the Netherlands government. In addition, Prof. Van Der Steen is the Founder and CEO of the before mentioned Global Scale-Up Program, focused on creating business opportunities for both the US and Dutch private sector.
